Cass Hunter Coming
July 26 to make videos

She's one of the most popular female songwriters during the Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival each November and she is coming to Java 5. We met her last year at the festival and knew right then we had to have her come perform and do some music videos with us. You'll love listening to her voice and playing a mandolin. Hailing from Nashville, she visits Perdido Key a couple of times a year. As she often does during her visits, she and her friend and fellow singer/songwriter, Bo Roberts, get together and put on some great shows for the LA crowd. Bo’s quite a treat himself. His first paying job was with John Fogerty and for 3 years was the lead guitar and band leader for Hank Williams Jr. Now making Pensacola his home, he mostly performs along the central Gulf Coast. Looks like Bo will be able to make it here July 27 to do some music videos with Cass and some solo.

Mudbrick Media Premieres The Java 5 Concert Series & M2B………Almost

Our two weekly TV shows were set to air July 4th. Regrettably, only one did. The TV station really messed up. M2B, which was scheduled to air on WPMI Local 15 TV at midnight immediately following Saturday Night Live got skipped. An edgy look into the world of the local and surrounding area music scene, with Adam Taylor featured in the first show. Instead, the station aired The Java 5 Concert Series which was scheduled to air on WJTC TV44 at 9 pm on Sunday night. The Concert Series is more laid back and features artists we’ve had perform in Java 5 or in the studio for music video productions. The good news, The Java 5 Concert Series Patriotic Special got aired twice. M2B did make it to the air on July 10th. If you haven't watched, you need to tune in.
