At the recent Inspirational Country Music Award Show (October 14, 2010) in Hendersonville, TN, “CrossCountry the Band” was named Vocal Group of the Year for 2010. They were honored with the same award in 2007.

“CrossCountry the Band” and CrossCounty the Band Ministries recently announced their new partnership with “NOT ALONE”, an organization that provides programs and services for warriors and families impacted by combat stress and PTSD. Find out more about this worthwhile cause at www.notalone.com.

The band is composed of Leo Johnston, Troy Vance and Casey Morton, and sometimes other great musicians they know. Leo and Troy reside in Texas and Casey resides in the Nashville, TN. Several times during the year they hook up to perform at NASCAR events, in places like Talladega, AL, Charlotte, NC and Miami, FL. MudBrick Media TV Shows

Hope you tuned in to The Java 5 Concert Series and M2B this past weekend. Our Christmas Special aired on both shows and featured several of our artists and friends. What a great production by our main man, Denny Wilkins! If you don’t like this show you must not like Christmas. Next week it will air again, but with a couple of changes. Tune in again to see the revised show. It will air on both stations, so watch it twice! In case you’re new to our newsletter, The Java 5 Concert Series airs on UTV 44 Sundays at 9 pm and M2B airs on NBC Local 15 Saturdays at midnight. The PLAYIN' FAVORITES $5000 Music Video Vote Contest ends Dec 31st. Make sure to vote for your favorite music video and remember, one vote per email address. The contest will take place on the MudBrick Music Video web site, MudBrickMusicVideos.com -- where each voter will register, view videos, and cast their vote. The video receiving the most votes will win $1 per vote for the performing artist (up to a maximum of $5000).

 

 

On another note, the Deepwater Horizon contribution pledge for environmental groups will end Dec 31st. If you recall, we committed to a donation of $1 for each music video sold, the proceeds going to environmental charities of our choice.
